Founded in 1984, School of
rts was originally known as
he Faculty of Secretary in Ningbo Technical College. In 2001, it was renamed
he Faculty of Humanities. Being promoted to 4-year undergraduate college in 2004, the university adopted its present name. The Faculty of Humanities changed its name to School of Humanities the following year. In 2015, Undergraduate Art Education and Extracurricular Activities Guidance Center was set up in the school,
since then the school has been renamed School of Humanities and Arts. Nowadays, the school has around 1200 students,
