亲爱的同学们： 

Dear students:

好久不见！四年间，在各位同学不在校园的日子里，宁波工程学院始终秉持着“以生为本”的理念，为大家存放物品。但随着2024年国际学生招生工作的启动，目前的学生公寓无法满足正常的使用需求，有许多寝室的床铺因始终被遗留物品占用未能合理利用，造成了学校资源的浪费和新生入住的阻碍。 

Long time no see. In the past 4 years, by always placing the student first, International Student Office of Ningbo University of Technology (short for ISO of NBUT) has kept your left belongings in the days when you are not on campus. As 2024 international student enrollment goes on, the current international student apartment can not meet the needs of normal use. Many beds hasn’t been properly utilized for being occupied by some students’ left belongings, resulting in the waste of school resources and the impediment of new students check-in. 

为能更好的为国际学生们提供住宿服务，以干净整洁的面貌迎接国际学生们的到来，经留学生办公室研究决定，计划于2024年7月18日-7月31日期间开展国际学生公寓遗留物品清理相关工作。现就有关事项通知如下： 

To better provide accommodation service for international students and welcome them with a clean and tidy environment, International Student Office decides to clean up the left belongings in the international student apartment from July 18, 2024 to July 31, 2024.

一、物品认领 Belongings Claim

2024年7月18日—7月29日为核实认领阶段。请各位毕业、结束学业且有遗留物品的国际学生于2024年7月26日前给留学生办公室邮件回复确认及领取遗留物品的时间，确定时间后可与留学生办公室预约本人来校或委托他人持《授权书》（详情见附件1）来校领取遗留物品，物品领取应于2024年7月29日前完成。如学生放弃宿舍内的遗留物品，请邮件回复放弃，留学生办公室将对其遗留物品作无主物处理。

Students should verify and claim their belongings during the period from July 18, 2024 to July 28, 2024. The international students who have left belongings in NBUT should send their time of belongings verification and claim to International Student Office by email before July 26, 2024. After confirming the time of belongings claim with ISO, the students themselves or the trustees with Letter of Authority can come to claim their left belongings before July 29, 2024. If the students give up the left belongings in the apartment, please send an email to ISO (writing giving up the left belongings), then the left belongings will be disposed of as unoccupied.

 二、集中清理 Clean-up

2024年7月30日--7月31日为集中清理时间。对无人领取的遗留物品，留学生办公室将集中存放在国际学生公寓1楼和2楼的指定房间，但对于对公共卫生造成影响的遗留物品（比如腐坏的食物、挥发的香料物品等）留学生办公室将直接予以清除。在2025年1月20日仍无人联系留学生办公室认领的遗留物品，留学生办公室将把这些遗留物品作为无主物处理。

The university will work to clean the international student apartment from July 30 to July 31, 2024. For unclaimed left belongings, the ISO will store them in designated rooms on the 1^st and 2^nd floors of the apartment. But for the left items (e.g. spoiled food, volatile spices, etc.) that causing public health impact, the ISO will throw them directly. The left belongings that no one contacts ISO to claim before January 20, 2025 will be disposed of as unoccupied.
