Recently, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) announced the 2026 Class of IEEE Fellows. Professor Michael V. Basin from the School of Artificial Intelligence (Interdisciplinary Research Institute of Intelligent Science) of our university was honorably elected IEEE Fellow for his outstanding contributions to "reliable and finite-time convergent control and estimation".
Professor Michael V. Basin is a Member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences and an IEEE Fellow. He currently serves as a professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence (Interdisciplinary Research Institute of Intelligent Science) of Ningbo University of Technology and concurrently holds a professorship at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) in Mexico.
